The 2012 San Diego International Auto Show will feature an art exhibit comprising varying media from local, national, and international artists, and curated by San Diego art producer Patrick Stewart with Nuvia Crisol Ruland. This “gallery,” in the middle of the concourse, is predominately themed around automobiles, and will largely focus on the beautiful architectural elements that draw many of us to fine cars, cars of historical or geographical distinction, and those that remind us of particular eras of importance in our lives. Designed to replicate an intimate art gallery, the exhibit will offer visitors a chance to lounge, relax among prominent works of art, and make aesthetic connections to their overall visit to the auto show.
