Test Drives
Get in and drive…it’s the ultimate way to experience and evaluate a vehicle, and it’s happening along the front drive of the convention center. While test drive brands have yet to be determined for the 2024 San Diego Auto Show, Chevrolet, Ford, and Volkswagen offered test drives of both conventional trucks, cars, and SUVs, as well as their electric vehicle models, and Audi had e-tron EVs available to drive at the 2023 edition. Street test drives are located all along the front drive of the convention center, and typically operate 10am-5pm each day of the show.
The Jeep® brand returns with Camp Jeep®, one of the most popular features of the show, and back for its 12th year. The ultimate off-road driving test offers an opportunity to experience the extreme off-road capabilities of Jeep vehicles over a 35,000 square foot course inside the convention center. New last year riders can experience climbing and descending an even bigger, 23-foot high, 40-degree Jeep Mountain. They’ll also experience obstacles that demonstrate Jeep’s ground clearance, traction, and articulation.
